| This course is offered for EPA accreditation for those persons who supervise activities with respect to friable ACBM in schools or public and commercial buildings. Course material is presented through lectures, and hands-on training. In addition to various in-class lectures for supervisory techniques, contract documents, air sampling data and insurance/liability issues; hands-on training will include a field exercise for containment activities, respiratory fit testing procedures, activities related to protective clothing and glove bag procedures. In addition to meeting the EPA/AHERA requirements, this course is inclusive to meet OSHA asbestos competent person requirements.
