| This course will meet the qualifications for the EPA/AHERA accreditation for individuals who inspect for asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) in schools or public and commercial buildings. The course includes information on: asbestos background data, potential health risks and effects; functions, qualifications and the role of the inspector; regulatory information, legal liabilities, inspection procedures, sampling and documentation of asbestos, respiratory fit testing procedures, 4 hours of hands-on training, and other data.
