| This course provides training to individuals responsible for stopping the release. Course topics include: implementation of the employer’s emergency response plan; use of field survey instruments to classify and identify unknown materials; how to function within the Incident Command System; knowledge to select and use specialized chemical personal protective equipment; advanced control and containment/confinement methods such as plugging and patching of leaking vessels; basic chemical and toxicological terminology; and additional topics. Course includes hands-on training.
